This week I've decided or at least tried to take some advice from the universe... I believe resetting is the sign I've been getting the most feedback from... Between the election and my mom's benefit from work ( plus our private familial stuff that adds extra stress, patience, anxiety, and well time) there are not a lot of moments to step back and see the good in the world... Especially if you're someone like me with cue music da -ta -ta-da- da .... with depression and anxiety plus ADHD ( and you have been in therapy long enough to still not know which is causing what)... Also, my current overanalyzing of why I have a love-hate with the word neurodivergence is cause I never know if it pertains to me or not... I'd assume it does but when you, unfortunately, go down that rabbit hole you feel in the wonderland of what is going on or where you fit. Getting back to my point if you're still here between all the hecticness of yours, mine, and ours as a society we have been living in the balance of whether is there a future for our world or whether are we just screwed... However, last night I took a breath and found the article that was done in the newsletter of Pacer Center with my mom and all the things she loves about her job/ the community and her former boss. All the effects this place had on me growing up... The advocation her boss Paula did and how she changed my life of just cause it's hard or seems impossible don't give up... I think yesterday this woman decided to send me a sign that the world is better than I think... Aside from it being world kindness day and I've rewatched three times Selena Gomez's documentary. I have been obsessed with greys anatomy since I was 12 and now I follow station 19 but that cast and crew have always seemed genuine and luckily I saw something that kept my faith again in the world with the Global Down Syndrome Foundation (insta) .... So, as I take this week to catch up on things attempt to see good/ advocation in the world this week... I hope you do as well...
